Although the marquee tent is used for outdoor permanent building, but when it comes to bad weather like typhoon, especially the coastal area without any protection precaution in advance, the marquee tent still prone to security problem. Therefore, what protection should we make if the typhoon attack the marquee tents.
There are lots of typhoon at summer time, especially this September this year. Although the standard tent wind resistance is up to 8-10 level, but the very strong typhoon still cause lots of trouble for the tent nearby the coastal area, so, we would like to share some protection measure if the typhoon attack the tents.
1, 8-10 grade wind: Fix the PVC fabric sidewalls tension bar on the ground, and tight the sidewall rope firmly, try to make the tent to form a completely enclose space, stop the wind entering. On the other hand, still need to do the reinforce plan, such as putting the heavy stuff on the weight plate, and also add the cross bars or steel cable fixing on the ground to reinforce tent wind resistance. So that it can ensure the tent strong structure stability in the typhoon bad weather.
2, Above 10 grade wind: It has strong destructive ability when the wind speed above 10 grade, so, it had better to take off the tent roof cover and sidewalls to reduce the force of the wind. Just left the aluminium frame of the tent. Of course, if the typhoon is too much strong or is convenient for you, you can dismantle the tent, after the typhoon finish, then install the tent again. That is 100% no damage to the tent structure if the typhoon attack.
